Introduction

The Core NFT Configuration allows you to define the identity and metadata of your node licenses, which are minted as an ERC-721 NFTs. It determines how your nodes are presented on-chain and how users interact with them visually and symbolically. Each license is unique, customizing its name, symbol, and asset ensures it aligns with your project’s branding. 

This article provides a step-by-step guide to help you complete your Core NFT Configuration and prepare your NFTs for launch.

Prior Knowledge

Before setting up the Core NFT Configuration, it’s important to understand the following:

  • What is a Core?
    Understand the foundation of your node ecosystem, as each sale revolves around your Core units.

    Learn how the LFG Node Sale Program helps projects achieve sustainable funding, build decentralized infrastructure, and engage their communities.
  • General Project Information
    Ensure your project’s foundational details are properly set up. Your Core NFT name, symbol, and asset should reflect and align with your project’s identity as established in your General Project Information.

These ensure your NFT configurations sync with the broader system structure and sale logic.
 

Core NFT Configuration

Below are the required fields that make up the Core NFT Configuration:

Core Name

The display name of the Core License NFT. This will appear in the Core Sale Page, wallets, and marketplaces. Choose a name that clearly identifies your Core License.

NFT Symbol

A ticker that uniquely represents the NFT collection. Similar to how tokens use tickers like Valley Node or Flipit Node, your node licenses will be identified by this symbol in smart contracts and UIs.

Core Description

A short description of what the node license represents. This metadata is shown on-chain, Core Platform, and NFT marketplaces. It helps end users understand the value and function of their NFT.

NFT Asset

The visual representation of the node license. Upload an image that will be attached to each NFT and displayed in wallets, Core Platform, and marketplaces.

  • Supported file types: .jpeg, .png, .gif
  • Max file size: 10 MB

This asset gives your NFT its identity and enhances its perceived value.

NFT configuration is more than cosmetics. It defines how node licenses are represented, and traded on-chain. A clear name, symbol, and visual identity:
