Creating a Wallet

If you do not have an existing wallet, you can easily create a new one using MetaMask. The steps provided are demonstrated on an Apple device, but they are similar for Android devices.

1. After installation, open MetaMask and tap Get Started.

2. Select Create a new wallet and tap I agree to continue.

3. Carefully review the Terms of Use, then follow the prompts to proceed.

4. Create a strong password for your wallet.

5. Tap Start to begin securing your wallet.

6. Read the important reminders regarding your Recovery Phrase. Be aware that losing this phrase means losing access to your wallet. When ready, tap Start again.

7. Tap to reveal your Recovery Phrase, write it down and store it securely, ensuring that only you can access it.

8. Re-enter your Recovery Phrase to complete the backup process.

9. Your wallet is now successfully set up and ready for use.

Importing a Wallet

If you already have an existing wallet and want to import it into MetaMask, follow these steps:

1. Open the MetaMask app and choose the option to import a wallet using your Secret Recovery Phrase.

2. Complete the next prompts as directed to proceed with the import process.

3. Input your Secret Recovery Phrase and create a strong, unique password, then tap Import.

4. Your wallet is now successfully imported and ready for use.
